Reeko Hood and Jorge Bravo are twin brothers that make-up the rap duo known as "Loyalty & Honor. "They were born in East L.A. and raised in South Central. Exposure to many cultures opened new avenues of influences and appreciation. In their early years focused on street performing and hustling their homemade rap tapes. They grew up like most other kids in South Central, losing friends to violence, seeing drugs destroy people and learning those street smarts to stay out of the cross-hairs. Reeko Hood and Jorge Bravo still live in South Central, so they know. Two brothers, rough life, real and respectful.
In 2005, they released an album titled "World Coast." It was a voyage into style and sound. It was an experiment of hip-hop, rap, reggaeton and world music. "We wanted to do something different, part of growing is to touch on
sounds you normally stay away from." said Jorge Bravo. The album was produced by J-vibe from Dragon Mob Records in East L.A. The track "Como Las Noticias" (Just Like the News) was included in the movie "DIRTY" starring
Cuba Gooding Jr. Even the Dragon Mob's CEO, Hsky played flute on it and V.P. Smax tightened the Spanish.
Currently, they have just finished up recording new tracks for their next release. Two of those unreleased tracks are presented here "Girl I Told You" features main vocals by Risco (The Lake Entertainment) and G-Money;
It is about being a player. "The World Is Mine" is about being on your way to making it big. "About to Explode" is a cinematic track about exploding rage.
Working again with J-vibe, they are going for the masses.
These new songs are fatter, bigger and represent Loyalty's new sound and direction. Reeko's and Jorge's history has just begun and they want everyone to hear what they got to say.
